On 26 January 2026, H.E. Ms. Prinat Apirat, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN, in Thailand’s capacity as Country Coordinator for ASEAN-Republic of Korea (ROK) Dialogue Relations, delivered congratulatory remarks at the Socialisation of the updated ASEAN–Korea Cooperation Fund (AKCF) Manual at the ASEAN Secretariat.

Ambassador Apirat highlighted the updated Manual as a key enabler in advancing the ASEAN–ROK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP), underscoring that the enhancements will strengthen the strategic alignment, improve efficiency, and enhance the impact of AKCF-supported projects, as both sides work to translate the Plan of Action for the implementation of the ASEAN–ROK CSP (2026–2030) into tangible outcomes.
