Thailand Joined Forces to Advance ASEAN Plus Three Cooperation

On 19 June 2025, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN, attended the 22nd Meeting of the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN Plus Three (CPR+3), held at the ASEAN Secretariat. Malaysia and Japan co-chaired the meeting.

The meeting reviewed the progress of implementing the ASEAN Plus Three Cooperation Work Plan (2023–2027) and discussed future directions and approaches to enhance collaboration. Thailand highlighted the importance of advancing regional economic integration, supporting green transition, and promoting digital transformation within the ASEAN Plus Three framework.

The ASEAN Plus Three comprises 13 countries, namely the 10 ASEAN Member States, China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea.
