On 23 June 2025, Her Excellency Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN, attended the Meeting between the Committee of Permanent Representatives (CPR) and National Coordinators of the Pacific Alliance (PA) at the ASEAN Secretariat, Jakarta.

On this occasion, Ambassador Ekarohit delivered a national statement reiterating the need for ASEAN and PA to enhance further concrete collaboration in mutually beneficial areas such as sustainable development, including sustainable urban development, sustainable agriculture, gender equality, climate action, and clean energy transition, while deepening cooperation on digital economy and in creative industries to strengthen people-to-people connectivity.

Ambassador Ekarohit also reaffirmed Thailand’s readiness to serve as the Country Coordinator for ASEAN-PA Relations in 2026.
