Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN met with the Chairman of the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia

On 29 October 2024, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Thailand to ASEAN, met with Dr. Dino Patti Djalal, Chairman of the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI), at the FPCI Office in Jakarta.

Both sides exchanged views on the future direction of Indonesia’s foreign policy under the new administration, especially on the issues that are relevant to ASEAN. Ambassador Phantipha also highlighted the important role of policy institutes and think-tanks in the region, including FPCI, in enhancing awareness of ASEAN among the general public and the youth, as well as promoting the relevance of ASEAN at the regional and international levels and ASEAN’s central role in the regional architecture amidst the current geo-political challenges.       

FPCI was founded in 2015 with the main objective to promote positive Indonesian internationalism while putting special emphasis on and strong outreach to the grassroots, especially the youth.
