On 8 August 2026, the Permanent Mission of Thailand to ASEAN participated in the 59^th ASEAN Day Food Festival, held at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta on the occasion of the ASEAN Day this year.

The Permanent Mission showcased Thailand’s rich culinary heritage through presentation of two traditional favourites, Pad Thai with Prawns and Khanom Tom Maprao On, for guests from the diplomatic community, the ASEAN Secretariat and various sectors.

The Festival is an annual event organised to celebrate the ASEAN Day, bringing together ASEAN Member States, Dialogue Partners, and other entities associated with ASEAN to showcase the diverse traditions and cultural heritage within ASEAN and beyond.
