On 20 June 2024, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Thailand to ASEAN, hosted a luncheon in honour of H.E. Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of ASEAN, at her Residence. The luncheon was also attended by officials from the Permanent Mission of Thailand to ASEAN and the ASEAN Secretariat.

Both sides exchanged views on ways to advance ASEAN cooperation in key areas, including sustainable development, for which Thailand is the ASEAN Coordinator, digital economy, public health, support for the work of the ASEAN Secretariat, and ASEAN’s engagement with its Dialogue Partners and external partners.
