On 29 May 2023, H.E. Urawadee Sriphiromya, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN, attended the opening ceremony of the 2^nd ASEAN-Italy Youth Conference at the ASEAN Secretariat hosted by Global Action and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic.

At the ceremony, Ambassador Sriphiromya also welcomed a group of 3 Thai high-school students from Yothinburana School, namely: Miss Pitchayapa Cusinsup, Miss Napasorn Kao-ian, Miss Ramita Ingprasert, and their accompanied teacher, Mr. Yutthasak Sawangsamutchai, who participated in the conference during 29-31 May 2023. Ambassador Sriphiromya congratulated the Thai students for having the opportunity to take part in a regional platform for youth and to extend networks among youth from ASEAN member states and Italy.
