On 28 December 2022, H.E. Hou Yanqi, Ambassador of China to ASEAN, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Urawadee Sriphiromya, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN, at the Permanent Mission of Thailand to ASEAN. Ambassador Hou reiterated China’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with ASEAN in all areas and driving forward ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Ambassador Sriphiromya raised areas of cooperation that ASEAN and China can work together, especially in the context of post-COVID-19 recovery, including sustainable development, circular economy and green growth, public health, and the maintenance of regional stability and ASEAN centrality.
