On 20 April 2023, H.E. Sarah Tiffin, UK Ambassador to ASEAN, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Urawadee Sriphiromya, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of
the Kingdom of Thailand to ASEAN, at the Permanent Mission of Thailand to ASEAN in Jakarta. Both sides exchanged views on ways to further advance cooperation under the ASEAN-UK Plan of Action 2022-2026 in such areas as security, education, empowering women and girls, health, narrowing the development gap, green transition as well as sustainable development, for which Thailand serves as the ASEAN Coordinator.
