On 20 May 2025, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Thailand to ASEAN, attended the Second ASEAN-Netherlands Development Partnership Committee Meeting at the ASEAN Secretariat.

Ambassador Phantipha briefed the Meeting on Thailand’s efforts, in its capacity as the ASEAN Coordinator on Sustainable Development Cooperation, to promote the attainment of the SDGs in the region. She also shared Thailand’s view on mutually beneficial areas of practical cooperation, especially those yet to be implemented under the Practical Cooperation Areas of the ASEAN-Netherlands Development Partnership, such as sustainable development, trade and investment, and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). Thailand also updated the Meeting that Thailand is working with the Netherlands to cooperate on sustainable agriculture and water management with ASEAN.
