The ASEAN Centre for Active Ageing and Innovation (ACAI), hosted by Thailand, is pleased to announce the launch of the Call for Ageing Research & Innovation 2025, inviting researchers, practitioners, and innovators across ASEAN to submit proposals that address key challenges and opportunities related to ageing in the region.

The 2025 Call focuses on advancing regional cooperation in the field of healthy ageing, elder care, and technology-driven solutions to support ASEAN’s ageing population. Proposals are welcomed in three key areas:

1. Research and policy development on active and healthy ageing

2. Technological innovations to improve quality of life for older persons

3. Scalable community-based programmes and services for elder care

The initiative reflects ACAI’s commitment to promoting evidence-based policymaking, collaborative innovation, and cross-sectoral partnerships to help ASEAN societies adapt to demographic shifts and enhance well-being for all generations.

This call also reinforces Thailand’s active leadership in regional cooperation on ageing, in line with our broader role in ASEAN in promoting inclusive, people-centred development.
