On 24 October 2022, H.E. Urawadee Sriphiromya, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN, discussed with H.E. Dr. Ratchada Jayagupta, Representative of Thailand to the ASEAN Commission on the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Women and Children (ACWC) - for Women’s Rights, on the workplan to promote women’s empowerment and the inclusion of women in the economic, environmental and climate fields, and the draft initiative on the promotion and protection of the rights of women prisoner. Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand expressed her full support to promote Thailand’s role in ACWC.
