On 8 November 2024, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Thailand to ASEAN, hosted a dinner in honour of Miss Sayamol Kaiyoorawong, National Human Rights Commissioner of Thailand, and Prof. Dr. Amara Pongsapich, Thai Representative to the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR), as well as the Thai delegation to the Regional Dialogue and Consultation on Advancing the Development of Environmental Rights in ASEAN at the ASEAN Secretariat. They exchanged views on ways to advance human rights in ASEAN and enhance ASEAN’s engagement with civil society.
