On 9 November 2024, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Thailand to ASEAN, and her spouse, attended the Royal Kathina Ceremony at Vihara Jakarta Dhammacakka Jaya, which was presided by H.E. Russ Jalichandra, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, and attended by over 250 participants. The Ceremony raised a total of 340,000 Baht and 17,800,000 Indonesian Rupiah in donation for the temple from His Majesty the King of Thailand, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, and members of the Thai and Indonesian communities.

Ambassador Phantipha and her spouse also hosted a dinner in honour of the Vice Minister and his delegation at the Ambassador’s Residence for this auspicious visit.
