On 15 January 2025, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN, hosted a dinner for the delegation from the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand attending the “Wilton Park Strengthening Biosecurity and Health-Security Collaboration in the ASEAN Region” meeting during 14-16 January 2025, in Jakarta, Indonesia. On this occasion, the Ambassador and Permanent Representative exchanged views with Mr. Pongsadhorn Pokpermdee, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Health and Head of the Thai Delegation. The discussions focused on an overview of Thailand's public health policies and strategies to expedite the establishment of the ASEAN Centre for Public Health Emergencies and Emerging Diseases (ACPHEED) in Thailand.
