The Ministry of Education, Thailand, in its role as Chair of the ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Education (SOM-ED), hosted the ASEAN Youth Camp 2025 (AYC2025) under the theme “AI Hackathon for Green Sustainability” from 17–21 June 2025 at the National Science Museum (NSM) in Pathum Thani Province.

The camp brought together 86 participants—comprising youths and teachers—representing ASEAN Member States, the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, and ASEAN Plus Three dialogue partners: the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Korea, and Japan.

AYC2025 offered the youths a dynamic platform to unleash their creativity in developing AI and digital technologies for a greener world. Through brainstorming, they will explore tech-driven solutions to pressing environmental challenges—gaining valuable skills and international connections in the process.
