On 13 January 2023, H.E. Urawadee Sriphiromya, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Thailand to ASEAN had a discussion with H.E. Dan Adrian Bălănescu, Ambassador of Romania to ASEAN, at the Permanent Mission of Thailand to ASEAN in Jakarta. During the meeting, Ambassador Bălănescu expressed Romania’s determination to expand her relationship with ASEAN.

Both sides also exchanged views on ways to cooperate in areas of mutual interest, particularly sustainable development, for which Thailand serves as the ASEAN Coordinator.
