On 15 February 2022, the Thai Cabinet endorsed the appointment of Professor Dr. Amara Pongsapich, as Representative of Thailand to the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR) for the term from 1 January 2022 – 31 December 2024.

The Permanent Mission of Thailand to ASEAN extends our sincere congratulations to the newly appointed Representative of Thailand to AICHR who will work with other Representatives of ASEAN Member States to advance the course of human rights in ASEAN.
