On 29 September 2025, H.E. Lee Jang-kuen, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to ASEAN, hosted a farewell reception in honour of H.E. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN. The event was attended by the members of the Committee of Permanent Representatives (CPR) to ASEAN and Ambassadors of ASEAN’s external partners.

In her remarks, Ambassador Phantipha thanked Ambassador Lee and colleagues for their friendship and support, reflecting on her one-and-a-half years in Jakarta as a meaningful journey. She highlighted Thailand’s role as Country Coordinator for ASEAN’s dialogue relations with Japan and the Republic of Korea, including the establishment of Comprehensive Strategic Partnerships between ASEAN and both countries.

The evening concluded in a warm atmosphere, with guests extending their best wishes for Ambassador Phantipha’s future endeavours, as well as enjoying Korean Food and Ambassador Phantipha’s signature mango sticky rice!
