On 4 February 2022, H.E. Urawadee Sriphiromya, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN, received Ms. Kate Rebholz, new Chargé d'affaires, Mission of the United States to ASEAN, who paid a courtesy call on her at the Permanent Mission of Thailand to ASEAN.  Both sides discussed ways to further enhance the ASEAN-US Strategic Partnership. Ms. Rebholz reaffirmed the US’ commitment to further strengthen cooperation with ASEAN and Ambassador Urawadee praised good ASEAN-US relations covering various areas. She also commended the US’ key role in the region, especially after the recent ASEAN-US Summit and expressed her thanks for the US support to the region in coping with COVID-19 especially vaccine donation to ASEAN, including Thailand.
