เมื่อวันที่ 28 ตุลาคม 2564 คณะผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำอาเซียน ณ กรุงจาการ์ตา นำส่งสัตยาบันสารของไทยสำหรับความตกลง Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) ให้แก่เลขาธิการอาเซียน เพื่อให้ความตกลงมีผลบังคับใช้ในเดือนมกราคม 2565 ตามเป้าหมายที่กำหนดไว้ ความตกลง RCEP จะช่วยสนับสนุนการฟื้นตัวทางเศรษฐกิจภายหลัง COVID-19 ของไทยและประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียน และช่วยให้อาเซียนมุ่งไปสู่ความเจริญเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจที่ยืดหยุ่น ครอบคลุม และยั่งยืน เพื่อประชาชนในภูมิภาคและประชาคมโลก

On 28 October 2021, the Permanent Mission of Thailand to ASEAN deposited the Instrument of Ratification of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Agreement with the Secretary-General of ASEAN. We look forward to its entry into force in January 2022. The RCEP Agreement would greatly contribute to the post-COVID-19 recovery of ASEAN Member States and lead ASEAN towards resilient, inclusive and sustainable economic growth for the people in the region and beyond.
