On 31 May 2022, H.E. Lilla Karsay, Ambassador of Hungary to ASEAN, paid a courtesy call on
H.E. Urawadee Sriphiromya, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN, at the Permanent Mission of Thailand to ASEAN. Ambassador Karsay conveyed Hungary’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with countries in Southeast Asia, particularly on technology, sustainable development, and education. Ambassador Sriphiromya took this opportunity to introduce and exchange views on areas of cooperation that ASEAN prioritises in the context of post-COVID-19 recovery, including digital transformation, green growth, human resource development, and sustainable and resilient development, all of which are in line with Hungary’s interests and expertise.
