On 2 March 2022, the Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw, Poland cooperated with the Philippine Embassy in Warsaw to evacuate 15 Filipinos from Ukraine to Poland, by accommodating them on board the chartered bus rented for the Thai evacuees to cross border to Poland. Officers of both Embassies also accompanied their nationals to safely cross the border and travel to Warsaw to take their flights home. This operation reflected a prime example of ASEAN spirit of solidarity and mutual support, especially in times of crisis.
